Dr Sarah Pearse is a registered psychologist who has been providing psychological assessment and treatment to children, young people and adults since 2002.
Dr Sarah Pearse uses strategies from therapies that have been proven through psychological research to be successful in treating the psychological problems and conditions that people experience. These strategies are drawn from cognitive-behavioural therapies such as CBT, ACT and trauma-focussed CBT. Sarah also draws on the principles of person-centred, attachment focussed and psychodynamic theories of psychological problems. Sarah is trained in providing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy) for the treatment of PTSD and stress-related disorders.
