Psych) Grad Dip Mental Health (Child Adolescent) Dip Clin Hypnosis MAPS CCOUNP, MASH Counselling Psychologist, Child Therapist, Clinical Hypnotherapist Christine has been a psychologist in Private Practice for the past 20 years. She uses a warm and personal approach to get to know her clients and offers each person a unique treatment program best suited to their needs. Christine works with children and adults, using a range of psychological approaches (suited to the age) including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Diablectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness and relaxation. Treatment areas include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, low self esteem, grief, adjustment issues and stressful life events. Christine has additional qualifications in the area of child and adolescent mental health. She routinely works with the full range of behavioural problems and concerns facing these age groups and receives referrals from Paedatricians, GP's, The Royal Childrens Hospital and schools. Parents are closely involved in any treatment, planning and feedback concerning their children. Christine has also completed extensive training in couple's counselling through Relationships Australia and is able to work confidently to help couple's communicate and work towards their goals. |
