Christine has been a psychologist in Private Practice for the past 20 years. She uses a warm and personal approach to get to know her clients and offers each person a unique treatment program best suited to their needs. Christine works with children up to 12 years of age and adults, using a range of psychological approaches (suited to the age) including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Diablectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), EMDR,
Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness and relaxation. Treatment areas include depression, anxiety,
relationship issues, trauma, low self esteem, grief, adjustment issues and stressful life
events. Christine has additional qualifications in the area of child and adolescent mental health.
She routinely works with the full range of behavioural problems and concerns facing these age groups and receives referrals from Paedatricians, GP's, The Royal Childrens Hospital and schools. Parents are closely involved in any treatment, planning and feedback concerning their children.
